Data-driven marketing company eleventy hosted the American Advertising Federation (AAF)-Akron 2013 Open House Tours on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 along with other local agency and design firms. From 4 to 7 p.m. area students and professionals assembled at eleventy to tour the firm, view its work and chat with team members.
“…it is good to know that what we do here inspires others to pursue their dreams.”
“Many of the students were excited by the idea that marketing and advertising firms were a growing business,” said eleventy PresidentKen Dawson.
Dawson goes on to say, “As they approach graduation they had expectations that there were only corporate designer positions available. They liked knowing that they had a choice to work in a firm with a group of like-minded individuals.”
eleventy marketing group consists of two parts: business intelligence and creative. While the majority of the individuals who attended were design students, there was a small group interested in business intelligence. Additionally there were a few local professionals that attended as well.
“We are proud to have been asked to be a part of this event and hope that we get the opportunity again in upcoming years. With such a great turnout it is good to know that what we do here inspires others to pursue their dreams,” stated Dawson.
In addition to eleventy marketing group, three other local agencies hosted the AAF–Akron 2013 Open House Tours: IpsoCreative, WhiteSpace Creative, and Todd Biss Photography.
